This role owns end-to-end payment resolution and vendor account accuracy. Responsibilities include tracing payments by pulling proof of payment (ACH IDs, check numbers, wire receipts) for paid invoices; auditing and reconciling vendor statements of account against internal payment records; researching and resolving misapplied credits where a vendor received payment but applied it to the wrong sub-account, incorrect invoice, or left it unapplied; and managing disputes directly with vendor credit and finance teams to ensure adjustments are made and statements reflect a true zero balance. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Bookkeeping, or Financial Audit, intermediate to advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) for parsing ledger data, and strong written and verbal communication skills to navigate vendor discrepancies constructively.
